Getting There

Flights
Harare, Bulawayo and Victoria Falls would be your entry points into Zimbabwe from outside of Africa. Air Zimbabwe, South African Airways and British Airways offer flights to the above destinations accept that SAA and BA do not include Harare.
Land & water
Main entry points into Zimbabwe from other African countries include Botswana (Kazungula & Plumtree), Mozambique (Nyamapanda & Machipanda), South Africa (Beitbridge) and Zambia (Chirundu, Kariba & Victoria Falls).When to GoWinter is from May to October and the most comfortable for travelling. The evenings are very cold and temperatures could fall below freezing point. Game viewing is at its best in winter as the animal congregate around water holes.Summer is from November to April when the landscape is green and there is summer rainfalls. Day temperatures can climb to about 35°C with thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Highlights not to Miss

Mana Pools National Park
Mana Pools is about 2 200 sq km and a Unesco World Heritage Site. The park is remote and you get a true sense of the wild and natural when you visit it. There are four pools around the park and you could enjoy fishing and exploring the region either by foot or canoe.

Great Zimbabwe
The greatest medieval city in sub-Saharan Africa, is Great Zimbabwe providing evidence that ancient Africa reached a level of civilisation not suspected by earlier scholars. The site is divided into several major ruins.

Matusadona National Park
The park lies along the southern shore of Lake Kariba with trees that looked like they have drowned before a wild mountain backdrop. The trees are dead and were victims of the rising waters of Lake Kariba during the late 1950s. At about 1410 sq km Matusadona is sandwiched between the Sanyati and Ume Rivers.

Hwange National Park 
The largest and most wildlife-packed park in Zimbabwe is Hwange. The national park is about 14 651 sq km and the most accessible park in the country.

Gonarezhou National Park
This national park is virtually an extension of the Kruger National Park in South Africa.
