Uganda Map

The area covering Uganda is about 236 580 sq km and about 25% of it is fertile arable land. Lake Victoria and Victoria Nile River, flows through much of the country. Together they create one of the best-watered areas of Africa. The highest peak is Mt Stanley at about 5109m in the Rwenzori Mountains. The land varies from semidesert to lush fertile shores. The climate is tempered by the altitude which gives it the tropical heat and averages over 1000m.
