Ficksburg is in the Eastern Free State of South Africa, bordering Lesotho

Known for it's beautiful sandstone buildings and the annual Cherry Festival, Ficksburg is a quaint little town in the Eastern Free State, about 150km from Bloemfontein along the Lesotho border. In the surrounding area you will find the Golden Gate Highlands National Park and other very interesting little towns along the R26. With the surrounding Maluti Mountains and the picturesque gardens, a visit here will be quite surprising.
